Question Problem or One Time?

I have a 2011 GT with AT stock 3.15 gear and a tuner with 9,000 miles on it. Started up with my foot on the brake as usual and the engine was reving to over 3K RPM and rear wheels were spinning. My friends thought I was showing off but not so. I was s**ting my pants. Shut it off and carefully started it and it was ok. No problems since. Any ideas?

Ummm.....so you started it up and it was immediately doing a powerbrake burnout? The only thing I can think of is the electronic throttle was somehow open, but this makes no sense. First off, you would have had to start it in gear, which it won't do, second, it damn near impossible for the engine to start up and go from 0 rpm to 3000 while in gear with the brakes engaged.

I'm not saying it didn't happen, but this seems really strange.

It was in a busy restraunt parking lot wit many cars from our club on a Poker Run. I started it in "Park" with my foot on the brake (windows were up) and I heard an engine reving put it in "D" still with the brake on and then heard the tires then shut it down. It was different to say the least. I'm going to contact my Dyno guy today to see if he has any ideas.

You sure you didn't accidently have your foot on both the brake and gas pedal? I've done that a few times myself.

Nope! Now my Air Bag light is on! I think there is some sort of electronic malfunction going on.
