I would walk......unless you know the individual selling the car very well. If the seller is a reasonable/responsible person who respects his belongings.....I would say ok otherwise no. You could get a nice new base GT out the door for under 30K....shop around? Good luck.

This sounds like a trap to me honestly. I think he knows that the thing is on its last leg. You could buy a brand new 2012 GT for under 30k with less than 10 miles on it.
