Default Powershifting the Lethal Performance Whipple Powered 2011 5.0L

It's been a very busy season for us however we found some time to make it to the track last night. So we loaded up our Whipple powered 2011 5.0L GT and headed out to PBIR for a fun night of racing. As always hired gun Jeremy Martorella from UPR Products was ready to rip some gears.

Everyone who's seen our videos up to this point knows what the car looks like from the outside as well as had the privilege to see how Jeremy shifts from our more recent "shift cam" videos. This time however we took it one step further and wanted everyone to see the footwork involved in shifting a 6 speed MT-82 manual trans into the low 10's.

The Lethal Performance pedal cam!!

I'm sure some of you know how to power shift or have seen it done before but for the person that isn't familiar with it powershifting is a technique where the gas pedal stays to the floor the entire time. The driver simply uses his left foot and right hand to do the rest. Just take a look at this clip and you'll see what I mean.

By the way guys.. This is a 100% stock MT-82 trans with a Mcleod RXT clutch. Stock motor as well. This car also still holds the record as the quickest MT-82 manual trans car in the country with our best of 10.20@134+mph.

We've got a lot more in store for this car so stay tuned.

Big thanks to everyone that's been involved with our car. All of our awesome sponsors, supporters and fans. We appreciate everything you guys do for us. Jeremy Martorella, UPR Products, Power by the Hour Performance, Jon Lund, SCT, 5.0 Mustang Magazine, DSS Driveshafts, Mcleod Clutches, Whipple Superchargers, Fore Precision Works, Project 321, Aeroforce Technologies, Reische Performance
