Accel vs MSD

Accel vs MSD
I am thinking about replacing my Coil on Plugs Packs in my 2012 GT. Because of this I have a couple of questions. Which is the more reliable brand in general, Accel or MSD? Also, Iridium spark plugs require less current than the old copper plugs did. Both Accel and MSD packs produce about 40,000 volts. Will this draw more power from the electrical system and cause problems? I don't know what the stock packs are rated at in terms of volts.
Thank you in advance for any information.

I can confirm that Accel is junk. A few users have had no problems, but many people have had multiple failures with them, some within the 1 year warranty. Mine failed after 1.5 years.
Pascal recommended msd's to me awhile ago and I'm still running them. I'll have to look in my pm's to see when i got them, but it was over 1 year ago I'm sure.

Where did you pick them up from? Did a little reading about the stock coils and it appears there isn't that big of a difference swapping them. What was your reason for changing and would you do it again?

I still have them on my 01 F150.
Were installed a few years back when I had 80K miles on the truck.
It's at 140K miles now with no issues, so I say they're reliable enough.
The cool part about that also is that the kit ran between $300/$350 so it's cheaper than the crappy stock ones at $65 a pop.

Got them from americanmuscle.com. On a supercharged car they make a difference, not so much in power, although they do add power with FI, but in eliminating spark blow out. It also idles and accelerates smoother.
