Question about JLT catch can installation and engine cover...
Hello all,
I installed my JLT catch can today. It was not difficult by any means, but I think I might be a little slow or something. How the heck does one get the engine cover off without removing the strut tower brace? I fiddled around with it for 10 minutes, and I didn't want to break anything! I was able to pop up the front and sneak the hose onto the intake port, but I had to do it mostly by feel. So I have two questions.
1.) Is there a way to remove the engine cover without removing the strut tower brace?
2.) Is the catch can supposed to sit level? After mine is connected, it sort of tilts back a bit, but there is no way to adjust it. Thanks.

I don't think you can remove the cover without taking off the strut tower brace. I had to do the same as you did and just go by feel.
My catch can doesn't sit perfectly level either but it's not tilted enough to where I would worry about it's effectiveness. Try and twist it a little and you might be able to get it close.
