Rough Idle + Engine light after X pipe install
Hello folks.
Couple of days ago I installed a lethal o/r x pipe and the jlt intake. After a few miles of driving, the car started to idle rough. The needle kept jumping between 400-1000rpm. The drivability also took a hit. At times when I step on the throttle, there is no response for a second. The check engine light also lit up the other day. The codes are P0171, P0174, and P050A. The first 2 show bank 1 and 2 to be lean. The last one has to do with the cold start, but not quite sure what it is.
Since the car has been experiencing these problems I've tried the following fixes.
Checked for exhaust and intake leaks, but found none. Reset the ecu by unplugging the battery for a couple of min., which only temporary seems to fix the problem. Run a strategy tune instead of the Bama tune, which didn't help.
Has anyone else experienced something similar after installing the o/r x pipe? Does anyone have any ideas as to what is causing this?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like Bama didn't compensate the off road pipe in the tune. I would check with them. But that has nothing to do with the stalling. Make sure your JLT is installed on the very end of the pipe as that can cause issues.
So I did a datalog today and here are some of the #s:
Lambse - min=0.84 max=1.12
long term fuel trim - min=0 max=1.3
short term fuel trim - min=0.95 max=1.27
maf frequency - min=0.69 max 7.58
spark advance - min=-12 max=47

Call BAMA. they can look at the parameters with you and check that everything was compensated for. They did that with me when I installed my long tubes, someone forgot to add that bit in. New tunes in 20 minutes andfixed.
So let me update you guys on what has happened so far.
First of all addressing the above comments, yes a new tune was provided by Bama for the new mods when I installed them.
Bama said that the datalog showed the car to be running quite lean. He suggested that I check the intake and exhaust for leaks. Although I found none, I re installed the intake and x pipe. I did another datalog afterwards and it still was running lean.
Trying to narrow down the culprit, Bama suggested that I remove the JLT intake and upload a new tune, which I did. Although this did help some, the car still idled badly and when I sent them the new datalogs, it still showed the car to be running lean.
During this time Bama also said that I can run the stock tune tune. This was actually a surprise to me, as I always thought that the car must have a tune when running a o/r x/h pipe. According the Bama, the only thing that they change on their tune is that they turn off the downstream o2 sensors. Out of all the tunes so far, the stock definitely has the best drivability.
I told Bama about this and they still believe that I have an exhaust or intake leak. Yesterday I found another shop to take a look at it and they did a smoke test and did not find any problems. This is the 2nd shop I've taken it to to find leaks.
After all this I highly doubt that any leaks exist on the car. The only thing that I've noticed since I've installed the x pipe is a rattle that comes between 1700-2000 rpm. I think it's coming from the o2 sensors, but I'm not sure. The shops I took it to said it's normal on some o/r pipes and should be of no concern.
I feel that at this point Bama is just unable to tune my car. I'm going to start looking for another tuner.
