Default Steeda Auto Tune?

Anyone running a Steeda auto tune on a 13? Thoughts? Friend wants a tune but can not afford a $200 plus tune. He wants either a Steeda or VMP since they are only $99.

Here is some customer feedback on our tunes, including automatics you may find helpful.

I am running the Steeda 93 octane tune from ^^ and could not be happier. I am running the Ultimate induction pack. One word. Strong.

As soon it's available for the 2014 GT a/t I'm getting it. I want something that is safe but makes a noticeable performance difference, Steeda does both.

I tried the Steeda 93 tune and it was ok, but not really as aggressive as I had hoped. Power could have been better and I would have liked the shift points a little higher on the auto trans.
I called Steeda and asked if they could make it more aggressive and what not, and was told that the tune was basically maxed as-is. Ok.

I've tried a bunch of different auto trans tunes on my 2011GT.
Steeda seemed to be the least power increase over stock. But it is very smooth.
I would go VMP over Steeda if it were a choice between the two.
( I've tried BAMA, Steeda, VMP ,C&L, Brenspeed, and Brooks Speed. )

My Favorites in order are: Brooksspeed, VMP, and the Bama 93 "Hybrid " tunes from what I have tried so far...

Any track results? What makes Brooksspeed your favorite?

Brenspeed and Bama have a lot of experience with the 5.0 and I can only assume that Steeda does, also. If it's all your friend can afford, then go with either the Steeda or VMP. Personally, I'd save my money until I had enough for the others.

No track results.
Main reasons are the auto shift points / firmness are exactly the way I like it, and the power feels strong all the way through the RPM band, maybe just a little stronger up top. - Similar to the Bama hybrid tune in that respect.
Has good auto trans shift points like the VMP, but the power feels stronger to me.
Again, I have no track results or data to back this up, just going by the butt dyno and overall driveability on the street.

If he can't afford the tune, I hope that if he gets the $99 one he can afford the SCT to put it on his car.

Another buddy just went to the track and tested a few tunes. JPC, Brooksspeed and VMP.

JPC ran the strongest. 12.2 @ 116 with just tune and DR's. Both other tunes were 12.4 at 114.
