ok so after a nice full throttle push threw all the gear when coming back down to idle or a stop or just cruising i get a weird smell kinda like hot metal mind u i know we have cat over temp so question was is that smell the extra gas the car is using to cool them down

 

probably just the heat in the cats burning out the crud.
