Default LCA help.

Hello and Merry Christmas everybody!

Im going to be ordering some LCA's soon for my 2011 gt and was wondering which brand i should go with and if i shouold go with adjustable or not. The car will probably not see the track and just some spirited driving every now and then.

Do i need lca relocation brackets... why or why not? if anybody could help me out and give me suggestions that would be great. i was thinking eibach or steeda, but open to suggestions. Thanks!

Happy New Year. This is my $0.02 worth. If you are not going to track your car then LCA's are not needed, I say spend your money on something else.

happy new year to you as well.

What do you suggest? I wanted LCA's because as you know with 412 horse, you can barely get traction and i know lca's would help. thanks for the input

If you're not going to be tracking your car I'd skip the adjustable LCAs.

Relocation brackets are more useful for lowered vehicles where you need to correct the geometry of the LCAs, so those aren't necessary either.

I have J&M LCAs on mine, but I don't think you can go wrong with any of the name brands really. The best tip I can offer is that you should get the ones that have a spherical bearing on at least one end to prevent binding.

If you're looking for better traction, you should start with tires (unless you've already upgraded them).

If you go with LCA I would go with the non-adjustable BMR's. You need relocation brackets if your car is lowered to correct the angle.

I'm running these UPR LCAs on my 2011 GT:

They are Made in America, they carry a Lifetime Guarantee, and they work very well. You'll notice better handling and a reduction in wheelhop.

I don't recommend adjustable LCAs for the typical street car. An adjustable UCA does help to tweak the pinion angle when you lower it.

Relo brackets can help if the car is very low.

thanks for the suggestions everybody. my car is at stock ride height... say i lower it about 1-1.5 inches.. is that a good scenario to use the relo brackets or is that still not required?

Just ordered BMR LCAs (TCA022) and relocation brackets. They are running a 15% off sale plus free shipping till the new year.
