Rear diff fluid
Has anybody changed their rear differential fluid? If yes, what have you used? Can changing fluid help with some of the gear noises?
I am still trying to get rid of some these gear sound clunks that I hear when shifting gears. Dealer says they are normal for mustang. One piece DS got rid of some but there are still some which I feel/hear from clutch/transmission and some from rear differentials. Since I feel I hear them more often when the car is warm (driving in stop and go) I am thinking changing some of the fluid may help.
The car is 2014 manual 5.0 with 3.73 gears.
