Default 05-09 CCFL Halo Headlights Question

Hi, I just saw some Chrome Mustang Headlight w/ CCFL Halo (05-09) http://www.americanmuscle.com/chrome...ghts-0509.html on the site and had a few questions. Anyone know what kind of installation is required for these (besides obviously replacing the headlights)? Is there an installation guide/video available? Also, I've heard these CCFL's end up going out pretty quickly for various reasons. What kind (if any) of warranty or replacement policy does AM have if the CCFL's go out?

Thanks!

Our headlights are fully warrantied for a year from the purchase date against manufacturer defect.

As far as installation, on most units with Halo, LEDs, or other effect lighting, there is a requirement to tap into the parking lights to power the effect lighting. It is simply a positive and negative wire hook up, and their is a video on our site on how to do this on a 99-04 Mustang. The procedure for wiring is basically the same for all years though.

As far as the CCFL's go, there are different grades of CCFL's, and these are automotive grade like BMW uses in their vehicles. Most of the problems you hear people having is when household/office electronic grade CCFL's are used in the headlights.

Thanks,

Nick
