Since it is a Steeda I would ask them, but maybe someone in this section will know the answer.

looks to me like it collapsed because you clamped it too tight. I might be wrong. doesnt look like you would be able to fix it.

Just my thoughts, but carbon-fiber should not collapse from a hose clamp. This actually appeared when changing oil.

Here is his pic:

JLT also offers a carbon fiber kit, and they said this:
This kit is made from real Carbon Fiber, which is known for its light weight and extreme strength. When tightening all hose clamps, ONLY snug them with nothing more then a nut driver or screwdriver. Even though it is very strong, it is possible to tighten the clamp too much and crack the gel coat.

As one could see this is not very tight, as no over compressed rubber gasket. Compair to other clamp. Frustrated

If you look at the rubber hose at this point, you can see it is actually damaged and creased inward into the "collapsed" area of the intake which indicates to me that the clamp was overtightened enough to cause this damage. You could still give Steeda a call, maybe they can do something for you, but I think you are going to have a hard time claiming this as a defect with Steeda's warranty department.
