There is this local mustang parts shop s197's specifically and its the only shop here in this city.
You would think this guy would do get alot of great business out of such a big city, but he doesn't
The problem with his business is they way he does business with his customers.

He bases his price on his products by the customer's appearance.

I've heard of some outrageous quotes from this guy
ex: $1,000 for 4:10 gears + install
$1000 for Unpainted eleanor hood
$2,000 for used Roush wheels

He's been doing business like this for quite awhile and word is getting around about how he does business.

His whole persona is like "if you dont want to do business with me, fine. I'll price gouge some unknowingly customer to make up for it"

Do you have any advice for this guy?

 

Go find a new shop. It's as simple as that...

Tell him to have a nice day and goodluck with his business. You'll give your business to someone who wants it...

Why waste anymore energy on this guy if he's a pud? Their are alot of places who want to help, AM is my 1st choice for parts. If they can't do it I find someone who will

 

ive not wasted my money buying stuff from him, but theres guys out there that dont know any better and shell out tons of money to this guy.

 

I don't agree with him marking up prices, but if hes still in business maybe he gives great service. Its pretty easy to research prices online now. Buyer Beware..

 

Every business owner runs their business the best way they know how. Since I don't own a business, I can't offer anything other than the most basic advice, which is to take care of your customers.
