I think I know what might have happened. I just checked and did notice the thing that says out of stock, but it takes it a second to load. So if you selected your color and then hit add to cart right after, "out of stock" doesn't have enough time to load. Which will cause it to go unnoticed.

Welcome to the world of internet part companies, most parts places I've delt with don't inform you the part is out of stock till after its ordered. So deal it with it or go somewhere else.

AM is a great company..sorry to here your bad experience. I bought like 6 or 7 things from them and received them all with no probs in about 4 days max. This sounds like what I'm going through with an ebay company right now. I bought a C&L street cai from some mustang co on ebay because brand new they were selling it for 149 with free shipping...AM sells it for like 369 or something so i figured why not. Well I payed for it right away and they told me it would be 2 weeks tops, so when 3 weeks passed by i emailed and said where is it. they replied saying "oh im sorry were on back order and havent even shipped it yet" I bought it on feb 20th and still waiting....luckily im really not in that big of a hurry thats why i didnt ask for refund yet.

I had something similar happen to me. I ordered MM full length subframe connectors, and the site said it was in stock, but I got an e-mail the next day saying the were out of stock. I have ordered things before from AM and they are a good company but why would they say something is in stock when it isn't?

This is the part I don't really get you having a problem with... I mean, do you really expect any business to have a "click here for a refund" button? To get a refund you're usually going to have to ask for it, and you'll usually get it. They're not gonna send you an email asking if you want a refund, they're probably not even going to mention it when you call unless you mention it first. It's not bad customer service or anything shady, it'd just be stupid business to do that. There will be a lot more refunds if they make that one of the options in that little email.
