hey i bought the sct tuner with the 89 and 91 tune for my 06 v6..91 works great but..the 89 is messed .When i try to start car w/ 89 it tries to start but wont..and when i first got it i installed 89 it would run but the tool would show up and at high rpms around 3,000 it would act like it would shift down by itself any ideas? maybe its just a bad tune?

 

It could be a corrupted file. I would call SCT and discuss it with them. They should reflash it for you.

 

It sounds like the tune file is corrupted or has been damaged somehow. The easiest way to have us fix it is to give us a call at 888-226-9764 and let us know there's a problem with your tune file. We'll re-send the tune and you can upload it, then you should be good to go.
