I sent AMStanger a PM on 7/2 to forward me the AM discount code (as requested by the post regarding the AM discount - the only way to get it is to PM AMStanger). Today is 7/5 and I have not heard back.

Does anyone know if this person still exists? Seems pretty stupid to have someone in control of the code and they don't check their MF account for requests for it.

It was 4th of July weekend...give her some slack. lol she probably had vacation and didnt check it because of that. I mean she is on here strickly for business purposes and she probably only checks it when she is in the office. So give her another day and if she doesnt respond, PM AMNick or call AM on their toll-free number and ask and tell them that you are on MustangForums.com and you PM'd their rep on that site and she did not respond yet and you need the parts ASAP. I mean its not an awesome discount but it was enough to offset the sales tax i was charged here in PA. But give her a couple days. Probably had off for the 4th of July weekend...make sense?

probably today or tomorrow. most places are closed the day after the 4th...lots of people with hangovers at work would not be very productive and might make for an interesting day. lol

They usually work the regular monday through friday, morning until middle afternoonish hours. Did you ever consider that, combined with the holiday weekend, your PM wouldn't be read until after the weekend?

It is kinda odd how things people get for free are the things that they complain and b!tch about the most...this is a bit ridiculous guys. Youre getting money off your bill without having to do anything...the least you could do is be patient.

I bet she will get back to you on the 6th or 7th. Like most people have said its the 4th of July weekend and most people are off today.

 

+1 to what everyone else has said.. She is most likely on vacation like i was. I also sent her an email on Sat. But no reason to get frustrated... Not like your parts would have shipped Sunday or today..... She will get with you tomorrow and you can order and get them shipped out tomorrow, just like if you ordered the part on Friday... Still would ship out tomorrow....

I've mentioned in other threads that I'm not in the office on weekends, and the turnaround time for discount code requests is usually about 24 hours on business days (weekends and holidays are not business days). I noticed that those details aren't mentioned in the discount code sticky, so I'm going to edit it accordingly.
