You can see gains anywhere between 10RWHP and 30RWHP, it just depends on what you have done. Typical CAI/Throttle body/Plenum/Cat-back/X-Pipe cars will get maybe 18RWHP or so? It also depends on how far off your factory tune is. I've seen some freak power made on bolt-on SN95's.

Not to go off a bit, but I just loaded up the race tune Chris and it certainly feels better. It also sounds a little different too, so I figured something was up. In any case, I'll see you next week.

Now, back to this:

If you're bolting on cold air intakes, headers, throttle body and plenum combos, and not tuning the car in an SN95, the car will still run and operate without symptoms. However, if you calibrate the MAF curve, command an optimal air/fuel ratio, and advance spark for optimum power... night and day difference.

The S197's, they need tuning to compensate, and in some cases the vehicle just simply wont run. This is largely because the diameter difference is vast. However, they also left a lot of room on the table for added performance.

For me, it's just that there are some parameters missing in the Diablosport templates that need to be added in order to FULLY get an S197 tuned in properly, especially when adding cams, F/I, etc.

For a bolt-on car, CAI and exhaust type-deal, you can replicate an identical tune to SCT, but it just takes alot more time, since most Ford companies are more familiar with SCT.

We've started offering custom tunes for Diablosport Trinity purchases through us, and plan to offer Predator custom tuning for new customers (since we're currently offering Diablo tuning for pre-existing Bama Customers) within the next month maybe?
