Default AM Rim question

Looking at buying item #28221, the Black Machines 2010 GT500 rims in 18/9 size from you but my question is will my stock sized 235/50/18 tires fit on the new rims width wise?

Stock rims are 8.5 inches wide and yours are 9 inches so I wanted to check before purchasing. Thanks!

a 235 tire will fit on a 9" wide rim but it will stretch a bit. 8.5" rims are recommended as the maximum rim width for a 235mm tire.

A 255 is recommended cause it mounts square to a 9" rim but I don't believe the stretch will be too significant and I've seen WAY undersized tires go on wide wheels. It looks ridiculous when it's over done, but I think the 235s will be okay.
