Default FRPP Intake manifold?

Not a lot of feedback on this item. Thinking about picking one of these up (or the C&L manifold).

What are the typical gains seen with this kit vs the C&L?

I have been told that the C&L gets and stays cold, running into tuning issues.

My set up this summer is:

Vortech V3/Intercooled 10 psi
Brenspeed blower grind CAMS
Economy delete plates
JBA shorty headers/high heat ceramic titanium coated
dual 3 inch cut outs after cats
90 octane unleaded gasoline

you forged? if not blower cams and a blower you already have your stock SB maxed...no reason to spend money just to de-tune your car.

and may i ask why the 90 octane? 90 octane on a blown car = ??????????

Alaska does not have 93 octane and I don't want to run torco year round. I may run 93+ torco on track days but it's strictly 90 oct. gas. Sucks, I know.

I am losing a lot of power because of it, but it's all good as long as it's a safe tune.

I'd rather run 8 psi in combination with the intake manifold/cams and make it more efficient than just making 10 psi.. I guess thats my logic lulz

could be wrong though..

I have the FRPP intake manifold on my naturally aspirated Mustang and love it. I can only imagine how I'd feel about it forced induction!

I've tuned a few of them with centri setups and they make great power. They fit awesome, look awesome... definitely go for it! It will only make more and more power as you move forward with mods!

How stout is it during extreme cold seasons?? it's pretty frigid up here for months at a time. I am worried that the flexing issues might be a problem (cracking etc.) when it's very cold out..

I really like the idea of this manifold/cams and the vortech

that's a good idea. less boost/same power is still less stress on the engine.
