First I'd like to thank everyone here for their dedication to this site. A lot of great guys with tons of knowledge. I'd especially like to thank Cutterwolf for his help earlier regarding my conversion.

Well I had my front end conversion done last week and I ordered all the parts listed on this site, I've put them below for reference. When I went to body shop they told me that the lower radiator cover did not fit with the bumper and that if caught the front of the bumper on anything the bumper may come off. He zip strapped the cover so it wouldn't drag along the road. But told me that the bumper didn't seem that secure if it got caught.

Is there a part I'm missing or did everyone have this?? I just got the lower KR grille from Shelby today and want to fix this before I install the grille.

Where's your splitter? The lower splash pan attaches to the splitter on the GT500 nose....

It's this item on your list: 7R3Z-17626-AB 1 Lower valence, but it doesn't appear to be present on the car...

 

If you don't put the front splitter on, you can just remove the part you are talking about. I never put the front splitter on because I think it looks better without it, and the lower radiator cover isn't necessary.

 

Torch will the bumper be OK without the extra support? I've never got the front bumper over one of those concrete parking blocks but I'm not the only one that drives my car.

 

Yeah I didn't order the lower valance because I didn't think I needed it. So the splash guard attaches to the lower valance, thank you for your quick reply.
