Default Another 2013 GT Owner.

Anyone know where I can find high quality auto tint similar to Ray-Ban Sunglasses' brown color/hue? I think it will look pretty awesome on my S.Gray GT.

This car is pretty awesome as is but there's always room for Jello, right?

3M is the best tint, I think they have a few color options.

Thanks 'W17. Had a look at 3M's site. Didn't see exactly what I am looking for but will check with a local authorized installer (I checked and only one in my immediate area) to see what color options may be available through 3M, if any.

Another topic for anyone : "Torco" fuel additive...http://www.torcousa.com/torco_product/un_acce.html. Worth the $$$ and time? I have access to 93 octane in my area but let's say I'm traveling out of town and can only find 87 octane for one reason or another. Maybe keep 2 or 3 bottles of the additive?

Swapped out the OEM panhard and brace with the Steeda adjustable and brace, made adjustments, and rear end centered up nicely. Dang, that OEM brace is flimsy stamped steel...it looks like a bedrail. And what's up with the OEM panhard? When I picked it up after I was done, I noticed that it's hollow(?) and filled with some material like sand/shot(?). You can tip it end over end and you'll hear the stuff rolling down. Is it some type of NVH dampener?

Pics of new stuff...

Hey guys, look at this pic...

See the weight bolted to the rear axle (see arrow)? What is that? Anyone know what purpose this unsprung weight serves? NVH? Same with the other side. If I had to guess, I'd estimate these two items add about 2lbs or so to the axle. Has anyone removed these yet?

Now look at those flimsy LCA's and change them too!

I asked the same question see - https://mustangforums.com/forum/5-0l...this-part.html
When I put my lowering springs on I called some Mustang shops and they all said keep them off so I removed them. This was hundreds of miles ago and I've felt no ill effects without them.

Thanks Mojo. Will probably get around to removing them sometime this week.

And moving along...the iTSX arrived yesterday and was finally able to check it out this morning. All in all, ended up happy but it didn't start out that way and to be honest, it was probably a failure on my part to begin with.

Long story short, I was forced to make a few attempts to flash the ECU before it finally took as well as being forced to "hard reset" the bluetooth dongle after failed attempts and my smartphone and iTSX dongle refused to sync up afterwards. I freaked myself out after the first failed attempt; recieved onscreen instructions to restore ECU to stock, and even that failed lol!!! And the car was in a no crank/no start condition! WTF did I just do to my '13 GT?!?! I went round and round a couple times and still nothing except error code 19.1? Oh boy, my ******* drawed up haha. Had to go into troubleshooting mode and ended up placing my phone on charge, with the dongle reset and start from scratch. From there, I was able to flash the ECU with the new tune and test drive.

Taking into account that the powertrain is OEM, there is a noticeable difference before and after. Not mind-blowing but effective. I can't say if there is more power overall but I can say it seems to come on stronger sooner and it feels much smoother. Before, get to what, 4k rpm then the car would explode but now, feels like a smooth pull from 3k maybe and the power steadily climbs on up from there. Gonna definitely have to drive it more and feel it out when I have the free time. Overall I'm pretty happy with this as my baseline for future mods.
