From what I read it's a little <not sure on time, and have no vested interest here> behind schedule and should cost around 2k, with another 2k in associated parts...for 4k you can have a IC'd sc...not shabby at all...I'm watching it closely, but am not sure if this is the right direction for me, but if I had another build I'd definately <getting back on topic> buy redfire's product list here...
yes, but this should allow for a non centri IC'd SC with no ceiling on size...IC'd vortech from bren is 5k+...redfire, is this still for sale or did justcruisin grab it up? manifold original group buy soon, this should fly out of your garage...maybe to houston <working on funds>
Sorry I haven't posted up here but yes I still have it all. Thats one thing a lot of people will say is oh so for about 3500-4000 is what it costs for this, well I can pick one up for around the same price. Well, thats good and all and if thats what you choose, feel free too. Just please don't clutter my thread with what you could buy... I see simplex design is not a fan of sqidds kit or the work he put into doing this...
True, and I'll admit, it was very frustrating to keep on hearing that it'll be ready in a month, then 2 weeks, then its pushed back another 2 weeks, and another, and another, and more and more weeks but thats what happens when you are waiting on vendors and making a one off piece.
Another point, sure you can get a vortech kit or an M90 kit for about the same price, thing is, this manifold allows for ANY GT500 supercharger to fit on your 4.6l. That includes the massive 4.0l whipples, granted your motor is up to par to turn one of those things. Another thing people seem to miss is with this kit, your putting exactly what you want on your car. Maybe you will end up turning the boost up and your 39lb injectors that came with your 5k whipple kit aren't up to it. Anyway, the reason why I was going this route is because it was teaching me what it takes to build a supercharger kit and not to mention how everything works together. I learned a lot about superchargers during the months to get everything together. I had fun searching everywhere for what I needed and took my time doing so.
Yes, 2k is a lot for a manifold (comes with a few other things btw) but then again if you do a search on some things, you can get a lot of what you need for CHEAP or even FREE.

Be happy you are getting the bump. $3,500 is a lot to spend on uncertainty in this economy. Also that manifold (if it is even a real deal and not some guy on a forum dreaming) may be able to handle larger superchargers, but a 4.6 can't without a lot of money to build the motor. I personally think you are better off selling all the parts separately because I think you are going to have a hard time selling anyone on something that hasn't been tried and tested by people daily. Not trying to be rude I am just trying to point out why you haven't made a sale on the parts and why its going to be difficult. Good luck with whatever you do, I hope you make your money back.
