SCT X3 is programmed for the following engine code MMX1.Tuner is unlocked as I restored the factory tune back to my before I sold it. If your Engine code is different Can get new tunes from Brenspeed or whoever you choose to creat you a tune, most places charge between 50 and 75 dollars per tune. $225 + shipping/Pickup preferred

Prob want to mention if the tuner is locked or not.

 

OK what is locked mean?

 

If I am reading right it is unlocked, i restored my factory settings back to my car before I sold it so there is no factory tune stored on the device.

The tuner with the right tunes should work fine for a 6er. You will just have to pay for tunes
