Default CBR 1000RR, letting go for 8k till friday, or trade

Ok, I got a 2007 Honda CBR1000RR. Pretty much stock except flush mounts. Has about 2400 miles. Black, very sweet looking bike plus jacket and helmet. Only thing wrong with the bike is a piece of the upper faring was broken by a jack a$$ right above the right headlight, but nothing else is wrong.

What I'm looking for, I'm looking for any sort of classic really that needs work, 71 or older. It doesn't need to have an engine, but I'm telling you guys now that I'm going to want some cash to go with it. It won't be a straight up trade unless you have something that just totally wows me. I have a 302 engine and I'd like to do some body work as long as I'm not replacing every panel. I'd like to have some cash to start restoration on it. My 67 Mustang is about finished and it's about time for something else.

Anyone interested?

Yeah, now that I made it down this far to read this thread. I'm pretty interested in this car. If you can shoot me some pictures and a little more on what all needs to be done. I'm on duty today so won't really be at the computer. But I'll get back to you at the latest tomorrow.

I'm stationed at Camp Lejeune. It's a heck of a drive to Franklin. A lot less miles, but about the same time to get to Orlando.

Here is an older picture of the bike. I have flush mount turn signals and a smoked zero gravity screen. I'll try and get you an updated picture, but it's out at the storage unit. Just haven't had the time.

If you can, just PM me as much info as you can on the cars. It sounds like it is what I'm looking for. Just info on the engine and if it runs, how much rust and how bad the body is, underneath, and interior. Just so I can get a feel for the amount of work that is going to be needed and I can start pricing some things out so I can get a rough idea on some of the repair costs.

Too much probably man. I'm working out a few kinks in her right now, but I'd be at least upper teens before I'd let her go. I have alot into her as far as money and time and some sentimental value. If the right offer came around I'd let her go though.
