Anybody make a decent kill lately? I personally ran into a BMW M6 think it pissed the driver off that I was able to pull on him LOL

 

If you're stock, he wasn't racing. M6's trap high teens in the 1/4 and have an incredibly strong top end.

 

a stock 2010 M6 runs 0-60 4.3 with quarter miles 12.6 at 116mph... Motor trend has the 5.0 timing out 12.7 to 12.9 at 107mph .. I ran my car at 13.0 at 107 mph, tires were spinning nuts and my 60 foot times sucked ***... I had car at dyno making 380RWHP .. it may have been stock, but it was a factory freak!!!

 

The GT is rated at 412HP SAE. That means a standard was used to rate the power at the engine. Different dynos, on different days will provide different results, which will not change the fact that it is still rated at 412hp. Furthermore, you ran yours at the track and trapped 107. That is still a 9mph trap speed difference, so unless the M6 wasn't racing, or he left it in 6th gear, a stock 5.0 will not pull on a car that does 0-60 in 4.1 seconds, runs low 12s (12.3 is the average for them), and can hit 200mph stock. I love my Mustang as much as the next guy, but a 500hp V10 it is not.

Different Dynos, different days whatever, of the 3 other coyote 5.0 at the dyno the day I pulled mine I was the highest stock numbered car. and the M6 won't do 200 MPH BMW shuts is off at 155 just like Ford does to the Stang. and I didn't say I pulled on him, I said he couldn't shake me loose, not bad for a 32K dollar car against overpriced sauerkraut

So I am leaving from pavillions on Saturday and I see a 5.0 and an srt4 the dry is testing to race me but I didn't want to do I guess he called hid buddy on the 5.0 . We were doing bout 80 mph the 5.0 lined up with me and he took off . So I down down shifted to 3 rd at bout 85mph and dusted him while the art still kept up a with me but never passed me . By the way I got a 99 stock gt 5 speed and I had 4 pros in the car with me

 

I was leaving the office the other day and see a BRAND NEW SS, he still had his temp plate.. I was behind him pulling onto Camelback road. I new this guy would try so at the next light i dropped my window to see if he was indeed gonna go.. Well he did so that being said I had to react to his launch. I dropped the clutch at about 2200 rpm and bogged out of the hole.. But that didnt matter. My girl had very little tail spin and by second I was even... I pulled the entire time making up ground... By 3rd I was half a car ahead and I even had time to wave BYE BYE !!! LMAO.... Poor bastard I probably broke his heart!! Maybe he can still take it back and get a real car!!

 

Haha every time there is a temporary pate on a car you can almost guarantee a race!
