Default Which one? Need response fast.

Which sub is better? Alpine Type-R SWR-1242D ...or ....Kicker Comp VR 05CVR124
They are going to be powered by a crossfire 2 channel 600 watt max amp.

it will power it,but don't max the amp...don't want to have a power drain or possible burn up.

No they wont, considering its a 600 watt max amp its probably only 300 watts rms which is about 150 watts rms to each sub, where as the type r's are 1500 watts peak and 500 watts rms, so your amp can barely power 1 type r.... I'd rather go with the type-r than the kicker sub you were talkin about cuz it can handle more power, in the price range you can get a Kicker L5 or L7 and itll blow the type-r away, I work at bestbuy and a buddy of mine who works there has 2 12" alpine type-r's and my L5's hit harder than his an he has a seperate amp to each sub where as im only running off of one amp.... you shouldnt compare those two amps if you wanna go with Kicker or alpine you should compare the type-r's to the L5's...
