got bass?
i never had good luck with the 99-04 stang.I built a 01 stang with the speakers facing forward like what you are talking about. It had 2 dd 9912's in 2.5 cu ft per sub with a us amp de6000 and all we could get out of it was a 146.3 on the tl mic but it sounded pretty good.If you are going for spl i wouldnt face the subs forward i would either face the subs/port back or subs up port back.Never played with th ED's so i cant comment on them and i never played with the jl's except for the w7.But with the w7 i was not impressed for the price of that sub you can do alot better. For the $ the w6 should sound pretty decent.look on ebay for some used 1000,2500,3500 series digital designs subs you might be able to get a new 2500 series for $150.No i dont recomend the dd's just because i own them but because i have played with alot of subs and i tourture the sh*t out of every sub that i owned and they are the only ones i have found that will handle me.Im not saying that you cant blow them any thing is possible
I agree with you on that about DD, they do kick ***, I owned a 3512 for about 2 months but sold it for lack of cash, i wouldnt mind a single 3515 if i could get a used one for 200 or less... what do you think about this, these are the two systems my fiance picked out, she has decided to buy her own stuff sense im getting my bike soon....
i installed this exact system in a S10 Ex cab and it was impressive but the subs are 1100rms each and that amp is only 1000rms so im affraid of damaging the subs with clipping. trying to make up with lack of bass with the gain(just a litte) and dmage the coils... so i picked this one out for her
Also we will be adding another amp to the Arc comps later on

i never been a fan of audiobahn or hi fonics but it should sound decent.I use to have a hi fonics collous and it was loud but the quality of the amp is poor.one day it stopped working so i took it apart and all of the screws that held in the circuit borad rattled out and killed the amp.My buddy blew up 7 of them..lol
The titan should be perfect for the audiobahns.defintly use locktite
.If you need a good amp thats 1000+watts check ebay for some mtx 1501d's or 8100d's.I own 5 1501d's right now i just need 3 more lol.I would rather go with the pioneer subs than the audiobahn myself. What kind of bike are you getting?I ride a little bit of motocross.
