Actually, US AMPS did not buy RE. The OWNER of US AMPS is now the majority shareholder. That does not mean that they are owned by US AMPS. I heard this directly from David who has been the acting president of RE for several years now.
thats what i said a "marjority"
no, you said us amps bought re audio.....that is not correct. The OWNER of US Amps bought a majority stake of RE Audio. US Amps did not buy RE Audio. If i own a company called Hart Audio and i bought a majority of shares in RE Audio it does not mean that Hart Audio owns RE, it means that me, Jason Hart, owns RE Audio.

Thanks for the link...never heard of them, must be a newer company. US has been around for ages. I lost track of most of the audio world after the mid 90's
Awesome products.....can be hard to reach them at times but overall great company.

Has anyone here tried any Us amps?I have tried a few of the sub amps dd6000,100hc,de1000,2000x.the new amps are nothing like the old ones. we tested the old heat sink de1000 against the new de1000 and it wa .6 db down from the old one.We also did a test of 2 0f the 100hc that they told us they were 1800 watts a peice and a earthquake d3 beat them by .8db.The dd6000's lasted about a day and kept catching on fire lol they fixed the a number of time and still never got it right. The last one as soon ast we hooked it to power it went up in smoke.I personally would never buy a Us amp ever again.

Not true...i just got done talking with flakko which is the owner of US Amps nephew and he dispelled that statement. And i'm pretty sure he would know. Now that is not to say that they won't merge but as of right now they are 2 totally seperate companies that just happen to share one person in common.

Prices are going to skyrocket from what the birds at RE told me. Us amps is not like they used to be, their not the hand crafted amplifiers biult in florida anymore. IMO they are turning into JL audio with the mainstreem stuff being sold on Ikesound.com and soon to be circuit city i remember my old us 2000x, what a beas that was. not like the good ole days

hey yall, just to clear some things up, USamps WILL be holding a few RE subs at the factory.... and to my knowledge, there wont be any building of subs over at usamps. but even uf there is whats the difference? JR, the vice president of usamps co-owns a speaker/subwoofer company so they will be under great supervision.

where do you get your info from? lol the items you see on ike sound are the entry level amps, there are 2 more lines above the Xterminator. and NO they will not be in circuit city. to tell you the truth, usamps used thier old 2000x's from FL, when the move first took place, and the majority of them crapped out!
