if you get a new headunit, which one does it go in? like the top radio or just the cd player part??

I put mine in the botton hole and made a blank face plate for the top hole. Future additions are planned for the space so I didnt want to buy anything to put in the plank spot. I think you can get a kit that puts a small pocket in the space.
I will try and get a picture of my set up some time.

Actually I have found a holder that I am installing that will hold my phone clip or the clip on my MP3 palyer cause my head unit has an AUX jack on the front.

So where'd you get that? Does Crutchfield offer that type of enclosure?

It is a blank plate that I fabricated myself to cover the left over opening. I will be mounting a holder to it that will allow me hang either my phone or my MP3 player.
I didnt want a pocket there as those things never have enough room for anything. Either they arent tall enugh or they arent deep enough. I can mount gauges there or anything else I want.

keep in mind if you use the bottom hole, that with some cd players there isnt room to put cd in and out unless the shifter is in a far back posioin
