just put a new system in my car and wanted to see what you guys thought of it, i like it alot.
it is a sony 1200W amp and a alpine type r 12" sub

 

Looks nice, but that's just more weight to slow you down....

 

how much did that cost ya?

 

Isnt that amp to much power for that sub?

 

the sub is 500 watts rms and 1500 max, so it shouldnt be too much.. the sub was $120.00 off ebay, and i got the amp from my bother for free.. i got the box made and had everything wired up for $100, so it cost about $220.

 

i would upgrade the amp sometime but the sub is pretty decent especially for that price.

 

whats the rms on the amp?

 

probaly around 200-300

 

its bridged so it puts out about 500 rms
