Default I have to...

Not to be an as* or anything here. But this has to be said.
First: If you dont get an immediate response, or even a response in a day, be patient.
There may be a reason you havent gotten a response yet. Maybe we need to do some research that you havent done, maybe we arent online all the time.
Bumping your message 3 or 4 times in 6 hours is not going to motivate us to help you. I cant speak for every one here, but as for me, I want to help every body but my knowledge base is limited on anything other than my own year of car when the question is vehicle specific.
Second: We may be good at what we do, but we are not pshycic. Include more information then you think we need to help you out. What year is your car, what components do you have, hell what type of tires are you running. The more we know about your car, the better we can help you.
Third: WE dont get paid to help out, we do this for free on our time and for fun. I am sure most all of us here have a job. We work different hours, we dont always feel like coming on here and helping. We show up when we want, we help when we want.
I am on here alot, but if I have no idea how to help you or if I dont feel like becoming a part of the what is the best... then I wont.
It is not personal.
Basically, give us info, give us time, give us respect, you will get help.

Thanks for listening...er...reading

I know it is easier to post your question than to search the forum. We all get tired of answering the same question over and over again.
I guess my venting wont change anything. Maybe there is a way to set up a FAQ or something. I know there is one for general forum questions. But what about a topic specific FAQ. I am sure we could put our brains together to create that. I know it wouldnt eliminate all of teh repetative questions but it might help a bit.

I dont think that will help. Its almost the same as searching. I mean there were 3 post about the same question withing 10 posts of each other. If they cant see that then it wont matter if there listed in FAQ. People just thinks its easier to sign up ask there question and expect an answer. If you look at a majority of the people that do this they have about 10 posts that is it. There the ones that only critize other peoples questions if you do a little more indepth searching.
