I dont want to pay the price for dynamat. What are some alternatives? I know of eDEAD. what is some other stuff to use?

I know there is some type of foam that is a sound deadner but im not sure what its called sorry, I use dynamat cuz i get it for dirt cheap at work.... maybe someone will know about the foam stuff, id pm sinsiter audio he might know of some other good sound deadner products...

hey Jimmz, What size wheels and tires are those? that is a sick looking combo on that car and i love it.

thanks bro their 275/40/17's in the rear and 245/45/17's in the front, im not exactly sure what size the wheels are cuz I got them second hand for really cheap I think their 17x8's, and 17x9's (deep dish)....

eDead is probably the better stuff out there. The Stinger stuff is awesome though too. Don't pay for it to say Dynamat on it. And please don't get that stuff they sell at Wal-Mart now. I walk through there on occasion for some laughs, almost always something that cracks me up.

You can use Great Stuff to fill cracks and crevices between panels. It is an expanding foam that bonds really well.

Basic rubber undercoating is basically the same as the Dynamat spray. You can use it on large flat panels to dampen them.

There's a product called Micro-Jute that can be found at the hardware store in the flooring section. It's a thin version of the pad used under the carpet in a house. You can lay it under your car's carpet and stuff it in the quarter panels to reduce road noise.

I used some dynamat because I had a discount too....then on alot of difficiult ares and such I used rubberized undercoating....you can get a good size can at most autobody supply places...3M makes it...its really good....
