Default big plans...need help

hey all.....I just bought my 2000 GT a few weeks ago and I have big plans for the stereo in the next couple of months. I have plenty of great ideas, but still don't know what to do with the factory CD player. when I take out the stock head unit, I don't want to leave the old CD player there non-functional, but I don't know what to do with that dash space......any cool ideas???? I'm all ears......oh yeah....this isn't a MACH 460 system.......bring on the ideas guys....

get a piece of plexi cut to fit the slop, take it to an ingraver and get a horse or gt etched in.. then take a light(color your choice) and hard wire in off the remote lead on your radio. nice glowing panel, looks great and is cheap to do

how about deciding what you want to do with the car first and post that... if you're going to show... then you'll want to do something unique... race? probably gauges or switches... cruise??? probably a nice plate like the first reply... not care about what other people think about you??? then do what Acer told you to do! (j/k Acer... I'm a hick too)

guys, thanks for the ideas....I will mostly use my car on the street and maybe at shows in the future. I really like the idea with the plexi.....I might take that and add my own little twist....actually my car has a lot of billet aluminum pieces inside already, so I might make a light set up with plexi and aluminum....none the less, thanks for the ideas guys..you've been lots of help

i had it in my 98 gt with a 10 color mini wheel in front of the light, a little mods to an old electric motor and it would turn real slow and the color fade was cool.. you may want to scuff the back of the plexi or use a mirror window film..

tripsevn7,
That sounds really cool.......where would I find a color wheel like that and what size electric motor did you use?....I think with the idea in my head now and a little color fade that would be bad ***....thanks for the idea.
