i've yet to come up with a definate answer on this.....i've removed my complete shaker 1000 system and the only problem is the harness that runs with the brake light wires on the passenger side for the amplifiers...i've checked a couple mustangs without the 1000 and they have not had the plug/harness you need for the amps and others have said the same.....i'm still working on this and maybe someone else has a definate answer!

any sudgestions on the speakers, I was thinking about building a carputer but I like the shakers rear sub mainly for the space and I am not into shaking the **** out of my neighbors but creating a decent mix

Dude! Listen to JJ stang. Buy aftermarket equipment. You are going to be so disappointed with it. I've learned that when it comes to car audio,...you get what you pay for. If you need some advice, feel free to e-mail me at cboisits@optonline.net
I'll steer you in the right direction because I've learned the hard way as to what is the best for your buck.

Read the post I just made above. https://mustangforums.com/m_1354119/tm.htm No automaker I've seen (Except perhaps the VW Dynaudio system) has ever come close to what an aftermaket system can do.
