Default need help asap, right tweeter no good

hey you all, i got a problem. i turned my radio on a few days ago and realized that the volume was turned up like half way but the sound wasnt loud at all. i checked all the settings and everything is fine but my right front tweeter doesnt work. anyone have aany ideas? any help would be greatly appreciated. oh, and how long would it take the dealer to check and fix the problem? im going to myrtle beach sun morning and my car is getting some body work done to it because some *** wipe hit my car and ran. thanks again everyone

It should only take about an hour or 2 if they find the problem quickly and its an easy fix (if the wire got unpluged or torn out or something like that will be easy). Of course just because it would take someone an hour to fix doesn't mean it won't take the dealer 5 hours to get around to checking it out...and then there is the matter of having the parts on hand or being ablle to get them quickly. All depends on the dealer. Only they will be able to give you a good pallpark figure.

I'd check it out myself, see if the speaker's getting power to start with and go from there.
