Need Help With A Vert!!!
how the hell do you guys put a system in a convertable??? i have a bangin *** system that i can't put it! the trunk is big enough for my box, but the opening to put the box in isn't. my seats don't fold down because that's where the convertable top goes. is there any way i can put my subs in my trunk?????????
This is what i would do. 1) Buy a scosche box $139 from crutchfield, designed to fit in the '06 mustang. It even mounts to the factory holes on the trunk that should have held the shakerr 1000 box. Get rid of one of your subs and throw the other in the box. Hook up your amp and your done. or....
2) do as above and then make your own "reverse box" for the second sub (Build the same box using the measurement from the scosche box and put the hole on the other side and mount it in the drivers side of the trunk. This install will 1)look real clean and 2) not take up much space in your trunk at all.
3) you might even be able to contact scosche and ask them to make you a box for the drivers side, it shouldn't be that hard at all.
You know, you might be suprised how good just one of the 12" subs sound when driven correctly. I would try #1 first and add the second later if your still not satisfied. Good luck man!
