I just imagine a man saying this with a completly serious face and voice tone and find it hilarious.

It reminds me on the SNL where Chistopher Walken is telling "Blue Oyster Cult" that he's gotta have more cowbell. The environment all around him is dying laughing yet he maintains a completly honest and strait face with his smartass remark.
Have you ever seen the movie "Waiting"? If you have, it's like the part where he goes,

"I have a serious question for you, how do you feel about male frontal nudity?"
and the one dude busts out laughing, while the guy who asked keeps a serious stern look on his face.

dynamat is good, but don't get anything but the extreme if you do.

I put a damping material in my truck over 2 yrs ago called brown bread that I got off of ebay for half the price of dynamat. It has survived 2 phoenix summers and still holding and working great.

well if you guys know everything why don't you give a more informative response and help the people out that are asking honest questions....
saying that edead or brown bread or 2nd skin or whoever is better is pointless without some sort of proof....have you tested the differences?
I am not a huge fan of sound deadner, but i've always competed in a modified spl type environment where sometimes sounddeadner can be detrimental.....
I'm not going to say one is better than another performance wise, but i will say that cascade has excellent customer service and will help you assemble a sound deadning "kit" for your specific vehicle....very nice knowledgeable people....

Our reasoning is our expertise how about that. Is it necessary that we post, eDead or Second Skin and say and the reason I suggest this kind is because I have played around with many brands out there and this is the one I had the best luck with?

if anyone knows of any other good products lemme know!!! THANKS!
I dont think it says anywhere in there, what product and why. It says do you know of any good products out there?
So I said, Otherwise the better product out there has to be eDead.
Hiss said, Cement or sand
and Sinister said, second skin audio is one of the best if not the best.

Cody here asked a simple question we gave him a simple answer.

but i will say that cascade has excellent customer service
Are you telling him to put dishwasher detergent in his car?
Maybe you should have included the full information like a link like Sinister did. Or the companies full name if they have one who knows I have never heard of Cascade aside from soap.

i'm not going to post my resume to prove my "expertise" i just find it to be amusing that someone asks a simple question and has to wade through all the B.S. to get a response....not that there wasn't any good info...i'm going to stop adding to the B.S.

I just imagine a man saying this with a completly serious face and voice tone and find it hilarious. Such a short and direct answer. Tooooo funny.

You have no idea what you are talking about, and should do the forum a favor by taking all your jl audio buddies, pyramid buddies, sony xplode buddies, and your capacitator buddies and jumping into a lake.
LOL

Cement or sand
ROFL LOL -Damn thats funny, whoo.
Allright anyway, Dynamat is par. If you want something easy to find but about the same price as Dynamat. Stinger Roadkill works better that Dynamat. Otherwise the better product out there has to be eDead. I haven't checked pricing lately but I know is less than Dynamat and it has superior performance. It's made by Elemental Designs. Awesome company that most of you dont know much about. Aside from us 4 or 5 chosen ones in this forum, who actually know what were talking about.

hey when you guys first started picking apart my system i said i would have done an eD system if i had the money....most of there stuff is similarly priced to alpine but there are no dealers and i just wasn't really comfortable ordering from the manufacturer.....but if i didn't care about having my stereo components shipped to me i would have....so do i get to be among the chosen ones??? do i?? do i?? huh??? huh???.....lol.....i have dynamat extreme on my doors....my doors used to rattle like no other with even the stock non-mach speakers....the rattling is pretty much all gone but i can't say much for blocking out road noise...and i havent really used any other products...so i cant say...but i bought my dynamat in bulk so it was cheaper than the actualy "door kit" that dynamat sells so it wasn't too bad
