Default 12v line under dash?

Can someone help me identify a 12v power line under the dash so I can splice into it? Thanks.

It either yellow or light green/purple on your ignition harness for constant power. Depending on what you are running, you may want to run it to the battery. If not remember to put a fuse when tapping on to the constant wire.

I would run a wire to the battery and fuse it properly. I have a 8 and 4 gauge wire running to my 1200w sterio for high current. I taped the 8 gauge wire and used another fuse for my accesories.

They have these things at almost any parts store called a "tappa fuse". It comes with a female connector and this thing that slips over one leg of the fuse.

You slip it over the fused side of the fuse (make sure for saftey!) and it sticks out above the fuse when it is in the fuseblock. You then plug the female connector onto the tappafuse (after you crimp the wire onto the connector).

I haven't found anything that is more slick or easier to use, and you don't have to cut into your stock wiring.
