Default harness trouble

i searched past forums, couldnt i find anything, so here goes....i bought a million different mustang.mustang perforamce audio harness from walmart, meijer, stereo in dash, sound waves, and none seem to work right. i was told you could not wire an aftermarket head unit to a mach 460 system, without re-wireing all speakers. i received 50resto mag showing that there is a harness that can do that, allow you to use the aftermarket head unit and still have all speakers and amp usage. is this feasible? my cd player will not play most blank cds, and the company i used to get the discs from discontinued them, so im screwed. so i canot play burnt cds! help!

I wouldn't... the stock 460 amps are extremely low quality... the capacitors and resistors are not the right size for anything worth using... and the speakers are all paper... paper rips and tears extremely easily... making loud bass and treble not a good idea... if you are going to invest in an aftermarket headunit you are going to want to invest in good quality speakers... using stock speakers with an aftermarket head unit is like having a cobra body.... and a tempo engine.
