Default 06 vert, running wire from battery question

I've looked and looked and don't see any convenient location for running the power wire to the trunk. Anybody with an o5 or 06 with a pic of where you ran the wire?

Default RE: 06 vert, running wire from battery question

What I did in mine was remove the battery and tray. Then, remove the panles on the passenger side interior. There is a large rubber grommet with some wires going through it. Place your wire through that grommet from the inside of the car. Once you remove the battery tray, you will see a ledge, reach around the edge and there is a small area underneath that ledge. That is where your wire comes out of the car. Once you get a grip on the wire, pull it tight so it doesn't touch the exhaust manifold and fit it under the battery tray, so it comes out on the positive side of the battery. I would also put some flex loom tubing over the wire just to make sure it doesn't get too hot or get cut by the ledge. Just make sure it's not gonna touch the exhaust manifolds and you're good to go.. Then put the battery tray and battery back in and you're done... Hope that helps..
