last tues i got pulled over for speeding and disturbing the peace. so i have to get rid of my 2 10s and now i dont like how my sound system sounds. i have a good sony deck right now, what is the best size of speaker and what is the best brand. i dont want to spend too much money. Does any one have the cheap Lighting speakers from Walmart. Im thinking about the Pioneer 3 way but i dont know what to do?

 

I think it's pretty f'ed up that a cop will get you for disturbing the peace with your stereo but won't do anything about getting rid of all these retarded beehive exhaust ricers. Now THAT'S truly disturbing the peace!

yea thats sincerely unfair, I mean if you were parked on a street in a %100 residential neighbourhood at 2 am with your subs pounding then yes thats disturbing the peace, but if you're speeding around somewhere then i cant see how you can be disturbing anyone since they can only hear it for a couple seconds at most. I know firsthand because i live on the corner of two pretty busy streets where cars love to accelerate (and **** those choppers) and i always hear peoples ****. So should i call our mp and have the canadian government ban subs? No and they dont wake me up ever at night and my girlfriend never has either..

so **** that pig he was probably a highway trooper who gets no real police work so they do this ****.

that sucks man, i had one try to give me a ticket when i had my 87 vert talking bout he could here my music. i was like i'm sure you can cause the top is down. with all the stuff that does on it this world, they can't find anything better to do

I got pulled over once for disturbing the peace with my system...two blocks down the road the cop was out of sight and my stereo was turned right back to where it was when I got pulled over. Also they can't make you take them out so don't...what are they gonna do, start having random checks to see if people have stereos in the back? Just don't get caught by a cop when you're playin it loud, problem solved!

 

they will give you a ticket for disturbing peace if they can hear your music from a 100 feet but they can't make you take the subs off THAT'S BS
