Ford 6-disc
that will be really messy. Ford radios mount with locking clips. When you slide that radio in from the front the clips snap behind the dash and hold it in place. You will need to cut a perfect hole and then hope it doesn't look too bad. I would probably recommend new aftermarket cd changer before I cut the dash for a stock piece......

your right and wrong, it does just slide in but lock clips are there. Look at the side of the radio all the way towards the front of the deck. You will see some metal clips that stick out of the side right behind the plastic face that will move in and out if you push on them. Those are the locking clips that hold the radio in place.
Hey man with the right saw and big enough hammer and a little duct tape anything can be done... If ya came to me I would try to politly steer ya towards maybe a nice din cd with a sirius tuner in a underdash kit and a changer for under your seat. It would be less hacking(I mean cutting) on yer dash(which =< labor $$$) and would give you better long-run reliability, and would also be a universal size fit so if the deck died you could easily replace it but I have only been installing fer a over a deckade whatta I know........ If ya really want it in there then I could put it in there fer ya.
