I have been installing for over 10yrs and have no idea what you are talking about?? If it is just a brand of cable then there is no difference in the install. If it is some "special" ground cable then I think you are dealing with some snake oil......

they are bigger ground wires to replace smaller stock ones? my buddy had some on his car and they did make lights brighter and things work smoother.

oh its just some audio power wire.extra grounds will help in some cases like grounding the alt to the body/frame and motor, motor to body/frame ..ect.It will probally be cheaper if you just go to your local car audio store and buy some wire/rings and make them yourself

this what you mean?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mitsu...spagenameZWD1V

for that price I see why they are called HYP-erground cables!!!!!!!!

Unless these are made out of PURE gold I don't see how they justify the price.

From what I gather these are just pre-made way of doing a big-3 upgrade? There should be one to go from the neg of the battery to the chassis, as well as a set + and - from the battery to the alt. This is always a good idea if you have a high power system as most stock ground use 8 awg, as well as 8 awg from the battery to alt. If you run a 4 awg cable for pwr and ground, and the stock ground is only 8 awg, you are limiting your system.....

yeah that's it. you can just go to any car audio store and pick up bigger ground wires. like $5. it really does help make everything run smoother. i've had them lying around forever and just want to get them hooked up.

What about battery cables? I saw a couple cars that replaced their stock battery cables with 1 or 4 gauge wire with the aftermarket terminals an everything does that make a big difference??? an wat is the largest gauge you can use?
