Why do my subs sound weird when I open up the trunk and listen to them, nobody else's subs i listen to do that they sound normal. mine sounds like its puffing kind of. I have 2 kicker cvr12's and I'm powering both of them with a crossfire amp with 600 watts max. Do you guys think that I'm underpowering my subs? I think they can handle 800 watt each max? Not positive. so that would only be 300 watts to each one so what do you guys think?

 

because they are going from a sealed environment to an open one. Some subs work fine in an open environment where others dont.
