can anyone solve my subwoofer problem?
ok...i have an 04 mustang stock V6...with a mach sound system
it sounds really good and all...but there's a lil thing that bugs me about my subwoofers..
the subwoofers are positioned in each side of the doors (as you guys probably know..D: )
so, whenever i listen to the music, and i hear the bass, i also hear a lot of plastic (material of the door) shaking noise...
the left side is not TOO bad, but the right side bugs me a lot..
does anyone know how to fix this???...it's really annoying..
THANKS
(if you have no idea what i'm talking about, please say so, so i can clarify it!)

try to isolate the area that is vibrating by pressing on the plastic. Then once you find it get some kind of material and try and stick it somewhere around it to stop the vibration. You can also remove the panel and use some dynamat? i think its called and that will help.
yea, if i press on the plastic, it's fine, but i'm not sure how to permanently push on it..
i've looked up dynamat, but there are a lot of items, and i'm not really sure which one i'm supposed to get..
can anyone help me how to push on the plastic permanently?

ive done alot of stereo work on my past two cars. and aside from bonding it back (glue, not recommended) a dynomat insolater works well like said earlier. remove the plastic cover and trim some dynomat to fit around where the plastic cover meet the door's plastic. it should work, it has for me in the past. tweeter carries dynomat
dynomat has many kits depending on what area of the car u want to use it on. I suggest going to an audio shop. They will be able to show you which one u will need. I am guessing the door speaker kit. We sell it at circuit city.
thanks a lot stangfreak, but out of those 2, which one do you prefer??
and also, which one in circuitcity are you talking about??
is there a link where i can see it?
thanks a lot

jsut get a smaller hit of your just gunna do that area, the differances in them is basicly the precut shape (you wont use the regular one you cut your own) and the volume of mat in there
goose got it, i couldnt find you the smaller versions, i could only find the pre cut ones online. look around, most places that carry car audio equip will more thatn likely carry dynamat in all shapes and sizes, pre cut and larger peices you cut yourself.
i would go with the wedge pack(cut-able)
