the mach 460 system is a bitch, i'm getting a new system put in, and basically my friend who works at circuit city said its something to do with how the whole car is wired. you have to buy some sort of new wiring system, or a passover to bypass the factory wiring. then you can put in new speakers, subs, amps, and everything should work fine.

One thing you want to make sure is to run your power wire and your audio wires on the opposite side of the car. If you run them right next to each other your power wire will disrupt your audio. That and make sure you have a good ground.

doesnt the mach system have a built in amp.....and wouldn't that cause distortion if everything was amplified twice??

im a mustang noob, but that is the problem i had installing a new deck and subs in my friend camaro SS witht he monsoon system.

throwing out an idea
