Help choosing subwoofers
Hi I'm on a budget of about 100 to 200 dollars and I am wanting to buy two subs for my mustang gt. I don't want Sony Xplod suggestions by no means, but I know some of you guys know of some good deals on sub combos. Let me know what you guys know, I'd truly appreciate it. BTW, they need to be 4 OHMS to work on my amp. If the price goes a little over 200, I can always buy one and upgrade to another later on if need be.
u want single or dual VC?
if u definally want 2 subs for 200 bucks id look at the kenwood typhoon subs found at any local BB. for about a hundrend bucks.
id recommend going with something better like a type R or anything form JL like the W3 or if u wanna get crazy then the ultimate W6's.

for the money you want to spend Alpine type R's are your best bet.. you can get 2 of them on ebay for just over 200... make sure you put them in a custom ported enclosure... R's dont get that loud in a seal box .. good luck
Ok, I found a deal, don't know if I want to share it but..........

they are a dual voice coil 10, you could get 2 and net a 4 ohm load...
I have 4 on back order...

My local audio shop SoundCrafters, is having a Promo on the Alpine Type R's right now. There doin 2 10's and an amp for like $325. If you don't need the amp I'm sure it will be even cheaper. If your interested PM me and I'll get you their number and more info.
