I have a 2001 Saleen with the factory stereo system, including RDS. What happens is that the radio station, artist, and maybe half the song title display and then it freezes until I adjust the volume or turn it off and on again. Does this sound like a problem with the radio or a broadcasting problem? Since I haven't found any other RDS stations, I can't determine if it happens with another station. If it's a problem with the radio, any ideas what I can do about it?

it should scroll the information and then return to the beginning and stop until further poked, prodded, or changed Yeah... it's normal. Works with MP3 players too

 

Thanks, Krusher! It never occurred to me that it was normal! But you're right, it always stops at the beginning, on the radio station's name. Good to know!
