Default question

mmk. i have 2 kicker 10s, powered by a good soundstream amp.

im thinking about buying a rear seat delete, and have 2 holes cut in it for my speakers, instead of having a box in the trunk.

pros, cons? will it affect my sound that much? has anyone else done it?

A friend of mine did this and it didnt sound that good, plus the rear seat delete caused more rattle... I wouldnt recommend doing it but thats just my opinion, im sure theres other people who have done it on this forum that havent had problems....

Are you going to seal the subs? If they're operating with the trunk as the box, then they'll most likely sound like crap unless they're "free air" subs, which IMO sound like crap anyway.

Default RE: question

Cons? Only half as many seats. On the other hand those seats are good for a couple of 12 year olds and nothing more.
