Default 91 Gt Stereo Help

I have a 1991 Mustang GT which I think is similar to the 1995 GTR's which I believe had no power options or A/C. I bought the car with a pioneer deck so I am unsure if it has premium sound. It has 2 speakers in the dash that play high ranges and drown out the other speakers, and 2 beside the back seat that play mid or low range which seem to get drowned out. It appears to have a speaker grill on each door but I don't have any wires running through a rubber boot from the door to the car, just a rubber cap. Do the rear speakers usually sounded this way or is my deck wired wrong and is there such this as 4 speaker GT's?

the rear speakers could very well be factory speakers. The fronts were/are 3.5's I think and were replaced pretty quickly as they liked to blow. Pull the rears and see what they are.

I figured out my problem. My pioneer deck has a stupid FIE setting and I turned it off and it makes a huge difference. My rear speakers are factory but sound decent when you have your settings on your deck set right. Now all I need is a decent amp and sub.
